We started the day at their home in South Wales with their beautiful dog Kala Bebe. They both had a slow morning and Michelle even led a Yoga class for her students.

After class she had her hair and nails done and headed home to meet Luigi and myself.

We popped a bottle of champagne and took some photos in the garden before heading over to the registry office. The heat was A LOT but that wasn't going to stop these two from enjoying their day to the fullest. Although Luigi made the sensible decision to wear his suit jacket only during the indoor ceremony.

The ceremony was held at the Usk registry office and was SO sweet! Michele and Luigi asked if I would be one of their witnesses (which was a huge honour) and of course I said YES! They also had one of their wonderful friends join us as a witness too.

During the ceremony we had lots of laughs and tears and they truly focused on each other and had a wonderful time. Smaller elopement weddings will always hold a special place in my heart.

When we first spoke, Michele & Luigi mentioned that one of their priorities was having a photographer who would just capture the moments that happen so they wouldn't need to "pose" for photos for too long. So this is exactly what we did! When they needed guidance I led with prompts to help them interact together and bring out the natural characteristics they have when they are enjoying each others company.

Finally we headed to The Castle Inn Usk for some more bubbles and a little bit of spontaneous confetti in the town known as "the town of flowers" (so how could we not!?)

Michelle and Luigi left me some kind words after the big day and this is what they wanted to say.


"We were so lucky to have Bri as our photographer on our special day. We did a small wedding but wanted it captured. Considering I said I didn’t want to pose for photos and didn’t want to spend long, you can already sense my awkwardness haha! Bri was phenomenal. Everything felt so natural and our photos have turned out the same. Bri was also our witness so again she really went above and beyond. Bri we cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us on our special day x"
